      Our serene hillside retreat and recently renovated property provides you a serene backdrop for your special event that is both upscale and unpretentious. The Setting Inn’s venues include The Barn, located adjacent to the inviting courtyard, which provides approximately 1200 sq. ft. of event space for your intimate gathering. The main guest house provides 8 unique guestrooms each with the luxurious Setting Inn King Bed. Hotel amenities include premium Lather bath amenities, Nespresso coffee makers, local artisan Steven Smith Tea, complimentary refreshments, Satellite television and our signature daily Europe-meets-Oregon continental breakfast featuring local craft meet, cheese and pastries; and of course a little bubbly!

      Due to our boutique size, hotel buyouts are generally required for social groups and wedding room blocks. Our central location, near Newberg and minutes from downtown Dundee, provides easy access to world-class Willamette Valley wine tasting and the quaint shops and restaurants of Newberg, Dundee, Carlton, Dayton and McMinnville. Thinking of getting married in Oregon wine country?  Guests of wedding groups enjoy the many things to do in wine country that Oregon has to offer. Get out and explore with Oregon's renowned natural activities such as hiking the Oregon Coast, foraging for mushrooms, crabbing Newport Bay, Skiing Mt. Hood or taking in the incredible Columbia Gorge.  Leisure activities include golf courses nearby, hot air balloon rides and more.

      The Setting Inn's well-appointed accommodations make the property an excellent choice for executive retreats, corporate off-site meetings and incentive travel. Inspire your VIP’s with a meeting place offering exclusive wine-tasting on-property, scenic views and nearby farm-to-table dining. Complimentary parking, WiFi and our rustic Europe-meets-Oregon continental breakfast is included. We would be delighted to recommend local catering vendors to customize your group’s food and beverage needs. On a budget? We offer affordable Napa Valley meeting packages for Sunday to Wednesday stays! 

      Venues

       

      The Setting Inn’s Willamette Valley has multiple venues for your social event, executive retreat or corporate meeting.  Our main venue is The Barn which provides approximately 1200 sq. ft. of event space for your intimate gathering.  This space also includes vaulted 18' ceiling, wall mounted television for presentation or sports viewing, a wood burning furnace for a cozy feel, a separate bath and opens to our central courtyard which has multiple seating locations for guests to connect with each other during or after your event.

      Our Grand Lawn with a serene water feature at its focal point can easily seat a intimate wedding ceremony or social event with space to spare.  Your guests will enjoy breathtaking views of the valley hillside of the rustic Willamette Valley and is easily accessed from our parking area via the bocce court patio.  Rooms Six, Seven and Eight all have direct access to the lawn from their respective patios and serve as the perfect changing room or private entrance to the lawn for the guests of honor to make their grand.

      Our Great Room, the main lobby of the Inn, is perfectly suited for a casual reception with our stunning terrace overlooking the valley, multiple soft seating arrangements, our centerpiece gas burning fireplace, ultra vaulted ceilings and can easily be accessed by your catering team through our professional kitchen which is adjacent to the Great Room while remaining invisible to your guests.  This room is approximately 850 sq. ft and all guest rooms are accessed from this main lobby.

      Finally, our more intimate wine lounge offers an additional small meeting, intimate dinner or breakout room with approximately 200 sq. ft. of space with windows looking out to our central courtyard; offering plenty of natural light.  This room is adjacent to our fitness center and is separate from the main Inn.

      Contact us for hotel buyout and special event pricing.
